About us
SELF | ART | FEMME
For girls you can sit around a table and be real as fuck with, all whilst drinking £4 wine and discussing Audre Lorde, or the psychological effects of short man syndrome.
Roundtable is a digital journal exploring contemporary 'babehood' through self, art and womanism, released quarterly. Founded in 2017, Roundtable combines innovative digital publishing, worthwhile content that doesn't assume your brain is a peanut, and all round good vibes.
Each issue is a platform for our voices, thoughts, rants and beliefs. RT is best read on a Sunday with a cup of tea (or gin) by your side. Contact us at hello@roundtablejournal.com or here.

Meet the RT Team
Wase Aguele is the founder
of Roundtable. She likes popcorn, free food and
listening to Jill Scott. She is currently studying for an MA in Creative Industries but wishes she had more time to pursue her career as an Insta model.
Nicolle Nyariri is the co-founder of Roundtable. Her life is a never-ending cycle of spending money on food and makeup, then thinking of creative (and sometimes unethical) ways of making more money. She currently
lives in Brooklyn, New York.
Zoe Alakija is only slightly obsessed with creating. Her average day is spent painting in overalls with a wine glass in hand, listening to Frank Ocean and gushing over Salvador Dali. When she's not studying for a BA in Creative Direction, she's head of design at Roundtable.
Ayoade Bamgboye is the senior editor of RT. She lives and breathes all things management consulting, but holds a special place in her heart for writing, drinking wine with girlfriends and Chelsea FC. She may or may not abandon it all to become an r'n'b singer.
Isabel Webb is a junior editor at Roundtable. Walking the sartorial line between ironic and insane, she’s probably drinking from a ‘Fizz Khalifa’ cup and preaching Betty Friedan right now. Writing for the sake of sanity, she's trying to stay afloat in the Big Smoke.
Want to join the RT team?
We're always looking for new people to join us– especially girls with social media, design or writing skills. We can't pay you but we can offer you endless banter & free drinks. Please send your CV and 150 words on why you’d be a great addition to the RT team to hello@roundtablejournal.com with the subject line ‘application’. You can be based anywhere (preferably London or NY) and should be able to do about 12 hours of work per week. Good luck!
